The first win of Senior Team Israel - Curling at the #WSCC2018 #curlingcame in a game against Hong Kong today. They are an interesting team comprised of experienced curlers who however didn't play recently (except for their skip Peter Wong of Unionville Curling Club) and this is their first time curling together. All four of us played well this time from the start of the game and we were able to control the front of the house in early ends blanking the first end and then scoring a deuce and stealing three after two well positioned Kevin's guards left them with a very tough draw inside out to 4 foot, which they missed. Peter Wong made two good draws to the four foot in the next end to pull within 3 points at the fourth end break but it was as close as Hong Kong could get. They shook hands after 6 ends.

We're 1-1 after two games and the next game tomorrow night will be against our nemesis (and friends) from Wales who are at 1-1 too. They knocked us out from play-offs last year and this game will have huge play-off implications this year either.
